This park is the most expensive place my wife and I have stayed during our cross country trip. It is 5 miles from downtown Jackson Hole. It’s close to Wilson WY and Teton Pass to Idaho. It is on the road to the back entrance to Teton N.P. Their hook is their location and they take full advantage. They use Jackson Hole Campground at times and other times Fireside Resort. There are NO amenities or extras including NO LAUNDRY, which I would expect given the daily fees. In all fairness, it is generally neat and trash free and the Magpies are entertaining. There are several seasonal sites that are dumpy. If an RV pulls in and parks to check in, it blocks the access to the campground and you either have wait or drive all around the wrong way through empty sites trying to get to your site. Luxury Cabins near Jackson Hole With sustainable built, LEED-certified cabins, Fireside Resort is Jackson Holes most innovative take on resort town lodging. ![]() Gravel roads, gravel sites that have straggly, thin, un-mowed, untrimmed grass on each site. That is until you drive your RV around back to find an average campground that you would find along highways where travelers spend a night and move on with no frills. The trees that line the road have some lights and the entrance has a resort like look and feel. As we pulled into Fireside Resort, the road is bordered by modern cabins like tiny houses. ![]()
